It's a New Year!!

Well, we haven't posted in a while... We've been very busy closing our old location and are currently in transition mode.

We wanted to especially thank all our patrons for your support during our time in New City, and look forward to our continued collaboration in the future.

We also wanted to let any of our customers know that should you see anything on our Face Book page that suits your fancy, we are able to order pieces in your size (provided still available). So visit our FB page from time to time, as we update the fashion shown on a regular basis.

How time flies...

Well, summer is officially over and we are in Fall with fabulous fall fashions. During the summer, Silcotts Boutique has participated in street fairs, we've visited Fashion Week New York (how exciting) and we've sponsored numerous charity events. We are spreading the word of fashion, and styling ladies all over the county.

Do's and Don'ts for Fall by Colin Megaro

We asked one of our favorite stylists (to the Stars) to predict the "Do's and Don'ts" for Fall. We will update these as Colin adds his predictions:

1. Do - "Add a piece of exotic skin to your wardrobe. Whether it's a snakeskin clutch or a pair of crocodile shoes -- this is a must have!"

2. Don't - "Clothes that do not fit you well. Bums that sag, sleeves that are too long, or clothing that is too small is never in fashion. Remember tailoring is key to making you look great at all times."

3. Do - "The military look. add a great military jacket to your current wardrobe. You will look current and fresh!"

4. Do - "For Fall 2010, Ponchos and capes are back. They are the perfect topper and finishing piece on those chilly days. I love this one because it covers two fall trends... Green and a Cape. Please remember to look for one in your range and then rock it out!"

5. Do - "Camel! The perfect Camel Coat should be a staple in your wardrobe!"

6. Don't - "Shoes that aren't polished or tattered. There is something to be said for always having polished and repaired shoes on. they finish an outfit and trust me, people do notice nice shoes!"
